=)

Its friday night everyone, hello there. Dont face the usual work pressures this week, for once my maths tutorials are done somewhat on time. Just chem stuff and econs test on tuesday to worry about ( should i bother studying? ). Next week is going to be hectic, before the long weekend kicks in. Joined eugene peter's team for the futsal tournament on friday after school ( after the national day celebration ). Pairing up with john for the badminton tourney on wednesday. Hope to have better luck than last year, where me and jem drew the eventual champions in the 1st round, consisted a school team player and an ex school team player. Held them to 12-11, then it became 21-12. Out in the 1st round.

Class or isit maybe gab, me, guohao and jc abit crazy today. Started singing muneru valliba ( spelling ) after physics. Nutters haha. The class forum is a nice idea btw, love the 4-word game haha, but need to make sure people actually visit that thing. Forgot who today in class didnt even know it existed. Start of teh chinese 7th month, people start burning stuff again. Going to irritate my sensitive throat/ nose. Mom asked me to turn on the air con, but it is tantamount to turning on a tap on my nose haha. The white vapours are supposedly comming out next week ( according to http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/ ) but dont know if they are going to be available in singapore as well.

Speaking of soccer boots, something interesting i found regarding how the colour of you soccer boots represents what kind of player are you, apparently done by a leading sports psychologist. Listed the white ( my field shoes: white predator powerswerve ) and the silver ( my street soccer mercurial vapours, well it was silver, now it looks more like some silvery white, grey, brown, black thingy ) for your reading pleasure. You all be the judge. Accurate? haha.

The Maestro: White Boots
Wandering into the Boot Room comes The Maestro, his white boots lain out ready to be slipped on, left before right, in an orderly fashion. In many societies white represents purity and light and The Maestro, a name he gave himself without any prompting from his tabloid ghost writer, is a player who shines brightly in any arena.
He is oozing talent and class, and has everything except sweat inducing work rate, but the gaffer has given him a special dispensation to not track back, so he says. He strolls around the pitch and thinks with his feet, which is better than trying to use his brain; and he always finds time on the ball. He has good instincts and he knows he is good, but he doesn’t mind other people reminding him. When he demands the ball he expects to get it and guarantees to use it diligently with the minimum of effort. White should be worn by players with class, who can give us a few footballing lessons, however expensive. He will be our white knight, rescuing us in times of trouble.

The Headless Chicken: Silver Boots
Silver has the lustre of moonlight, it offers light and balance, and the footballer who wears silver boots will bring stability to the team, if they let him. They may be suspicious of his shiny footwear. He has speed and pace to burn, but they think he does not always use it wisely. Unkindly known as a headless chicken by his merciless team-mates as he runs on everlasting nervous energy. Passing and distribution can be erratic but aesthetically pleasing. On their day, they are unstoppable. But when is their day?
